Cascade High School’s Criminal Justice classes recently participated in an exciting competition at the Columbia National Guard Armory. Students were given the opportunity to experience real-life scenarios that challenged their critical thinking and teamwork skills.

Through hands-on learning activities, students worked to investigate mock crime scenes, collect evidence, and analyze details just like professionals in the field. These experiences help bring classroom lessons to life while preparing students for potential careers in criminal justice and public service.

We are proud of our students for representing Cascade High School and taking advantage of this unique opportunity to learn and grow! 👏🔍🚔

Cascade High School Culinary had an incredible day competing! 👩‍🍳✨

Culinary students, Isabella Highfill and Hannah Nevills, did an outstanding job in the competition. While they did not place in the top three, the judges were extremely complimentary of their performance. They shared that the food was cooked to perfection, the flavor was outstanding, and the culinary techniques were executed beautifully. They also praised the team for working phenomenally together and for maintaining a clean and sanitary station throughout the competition. They are anxiously awaiting their scorecards so they can continue to learn and improve for the future.

After the competition, the team enjoyed some fun together in an escape room. Even though we didn’t quite make it out in time, the girls had a great time trying something new and working together in a different challenge! 🗝️

We are so proud of these students for representing Cascade High School with excellence. They are already talking about ideas and planning their menu for next year’s competition, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish! 👏🍽️
