About BCLA

Bedford County Learning Academy is located at 400A Elm Street in Shelbyville, Tennessee. BCLA serves members of the student population in Bedford County who are not meeting their full potential in a traditional school setting. The goal of the program is to offer an alternative pathway toward success through a smaller more personalized environment in which students are able to form strong connections with school staff and peers, identify opportunities for self-improvement, and receive academic-supports intended to address each individual's distinct learning needs, aspirations, interests, and backgrounds.
